Katrina and Stephen’s Alicia Hotel Wedding in Liverpool was a celebration of two people in love who have known each other since they were in primary school. The day started at the hotel with myself and the girls squeezed into a bedroom whilst everyone got ready for the wedding day. With typical British weather playing a part in the day, we were rather hot – you can see in the photographs how the girls were trying to cool down with a fan.
Once Katrina (the Bride) was ready, the girls headed off to ceremony in the amazing wedding car and bus. Gary the Vicar guided us through the wedding ceremony, and proudly announced that Stephen and Katrina were Husband and Wife. After the ceremony, the guests had the opportunity to congratulate the newlyweds and make sure they threw some confetti over them!
Everyone then returned to the Alicia Hotel for the drinks reception and wedding breakfast. As usual, the staff at the hotel were friendly, helpful, and made all the wedding guests feel relaxed and welcome at the Alicia. Before the wedding breakfast started the guests enjoyed a few drinks and an opportunity to chat and have fun with friends and family. My use of candid wedding photography really documents the atmosphere and my goal is for you to feel like you’re there each time you look at the photographs.
After the speeches and the wedding breakfast many guests enjoyed dancing, dressing up and having their photo taken by the photobooth mirror. Thank you Katrina and Stephen for selecting me to photograph your Alicia Hotel Wedding in Liverpool.
