Chester Wedding Photographer

As a Chester Wedding Photographer I have plenty of favourite wedding venues, and Chester is one location I’ve discovered is just perfect for the big day, a great mix of history and beautiful green open spaces. If you want wedding photographs that tell a story, I will capture those personal and engaging moments that mean so much and create a perfect collection of images from your wedding day.

If you’re wondering how your wedding photos could look, have a browse through my portfolio, watch some photofilms, and get in touch for further information.

What you’ll notice, firstly of all, is that I use a documentary style approach. It’s a lot less formal than traditional posed photos and captures those more personal moments. I can do those group wedding photos, of course, but couples find my journalistic wedding images tell the whole tale of what is an exciting and memorable day for everyone.

Getting Married in Chester

I live local to Chester and love the sheer variety of the city landscape, a characteristic that lends itself so well to weddings. There’s Chester Cathedral for a start, which is one of my favourite landmarks. There are some stunning places on the River Dee where you can capture romantic moments that have just the right background. You might plan a traditional wedding in your local Chester church, or you could be heading to the registry office on Goss Street.

More and more couples are choosing for all-in-one venues such as hotels where a civil ceremony can take place and the guests then move onto the reception for the speeches and celebrations. Some people have even decided to get married at the famous Chester Racecourse, another great location for weddings.

As a wedding photographer, my goal is to produce a series of images that best sum up your special occasion, photographs you’ll be able to appreciate for many years to come.

The Benefits of a Documentary Style Wedding Photographer

A lot of my wedding clients are looking for something more than the traditional posed images – where you gather the family in a group and take a set of photos. There’s nothing wrong with these kinds images but if you want to tell the true story of your Chester wedding day, you might want to consider my documentary or journalistic style of photography.

At your wedding, I’ll be blending in the crowd, looking for those great photographic opportunities. Finding the right time to press the shutter button requires a good deal of experience as well as photography skill. There’s are those moments when you need to frame an image and take the picture and only have a few seconds to do it.

While I’ll be able to capture all the usual images such as the ceremony and the speeches afterwards, your first dance as you take to the floor as a married couple, there are also those intimate moments that make for stunning images. These bring your wedding in Chester to life in pictorial form.

As a documentary style photographer, I’ll take plenty of photographs of the day, then I’ll go back and organise a personal collection that says everything about your wedding day.

Chester wedding photographer is a local service designed to deliver memorable images of your wedding day. In years to come, you’ll be able to browse these photographs and easily recall the excitement and emotion of the day.
