Chris and Molly’s Isla Gladstone Wedding in Liverpool was an awesome day and brought two fantastic families together. I honestly don’t think I have met so many lovely people with such a good attitude and appreciation of what is really important in life.

Chris and Molly got ready at their home in Garston before the wedding ceremony. With rain scheduled all day we felt very lucky when the sunshine made a prolonged appearance later on in the day. The great part about the Isla Gladstone in Liverpool is that it’s a lovely and bright venue inside whatever the weather is like outside. Chris has a reputation of being “rained on” for every special occasion, and therefore I don’t think he was surprised when rain was forecast for the wedding day. However, as the sun came out after the ceremony it might mean that the curse is now broken 🙂 Fingers crossed.

Chris and Molly had both their ceremony and reception at the Isla Gladstone. The venue staff were great at turning the space around after the ceremony and by the time we had taken a handful of group photos outside the conservatory was ready.  If the weather is looking nice couples can also request that the ceremony takes place outside in the bandstand; there are not many local venues that can offer outdoor weddings.

The Isla Gladstone Conservatory is located in Stanley park, which is close to the Everton’s Goodison Park football ground in Liverpool. The conservatory was built in 1870 and was part of a project to make a usable park space for local people. As well as the conservatory there are spacious grounds to walk around and get many great photos of you and your guests outside.

Chris and Molly chose me to be their documentary wedding photographer as they didn’t want to spend their day posing for the camera and feeling awkward. For their Wedding, Chris and Molly wanted documentary photos and their wedding day captured to help them remember all the moments and emotions. If you would like to discuss your Isla Gladstone Wedding please contact me for a brochure.
