Sefton Park Palm House Wedding

Sefton Park Palm House Liverpool is such a beautiful wedding venue that provides lots of natural light all day long. Kirsten and Darren were married at the Grade II Victorian Palm House in August, and even though it wasn’t the best weather for the majority of the day the images look great in this venue. The Palm House is surrounded by the beautiful green grounds of Sefton Park which make you forget that you’re in the city of Liverpool and not that far from the Royal Liver Building and the Albert Dock.

Plants inside the Palm House

Once inside the Palm House at Sefton Park you get to experience all the plants that are originally from many different locations around the world. These variety of plants help create a beautiful atmosphere and provide great backgrounds for the wedding photographs and for the guests to enjoy.

Beautiful backgrounds

In the photograph below you can see how the different plants create awesome colours and a pleasing background as the smiling bride walks down the aisle.

 Stage

When it comes to wedding entertainment you will be glad to hear there is a stage in the Palm House! At Kirsten and Darren’s wedding this was great for the paid entertainment, but also for Darren’s surprise performance for his new wife!

Wedding Breakfast

In the Palm House there is plenty of room for your guests to relax and celebrate your love story. I believe both long and round tables can be used for the wedding breakfast to make sure that you are accommodated comfortably. From my experience there are plenty of venues that don’t have enough space and you feel it, but as you can see in this photograph that there is a good amount of space between each table for your guests, venue staff, and your photographer to move around.

Confetti

At Sefton Park and the Palm House there are lots of opportunity for portraits, group photos and to make sure the bride and groom are covered in confetti at some point during the day 🙂 I focus on Documentary Wedding Photography and there is a great amount of space for me to photograph all the memories and moments taking place at the Palm House.

First Dance and Party

When it’s time for the first dance and for you and your guests to party the Palm House in Liverpool is an excellent venue. The lights in the Palm House bring another dimension to the atmosphere and it’s certainly a unique wedding venue in Liverpool.
